Photos You Upload: When you upload a photo to create a personalized portrait, we process and temporarily store that photo solely to fulfill your order. See Section 5 for full details on how we handle your photos.
Communications: Any messages, emails, reviews, or feedback you send us, including customer support inquiries.
Device and Usage Information: Your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and how you interact with our website (pages visited, time spent, clicks).
2. How We Collect Your Information
Directly from you: When you create an account, place an order, upload a photo, contact us, leave a review, or subscribe to our emails.
Automatically: Through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you browse our website. This includes information about your device, browser, and how you use our site.
From service providers: Our partners (such as Shopify, payment processors, and analytics providers) may collect information on our behalf to help us operate and improve our services.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
Fulfilling Your Orders: To process payments, create your personalized portraits, arrange shipping, handle returns and exchanges, and communicate order updates.
Running Our Services: To maintain your account, remember your preferences, provide customer support, and improve your shopping experience.
Marketing: To send you promotional emails, show you relevant advertisements, and recommend products. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
Security: To detect and prevent fraud, protect your account, and maintain the safety and security of our services.

4. How We Share Your Information

5. Your Photos and Portraits
This section is particularly important because our service involves personal photos, often of children. We take the handling of these images extremely seriously.
How We Use Your Photos
We use your uploaded photos solely to create your personalized portrait. We do not sell, share, license, or distribute your photos to any third party for any purpose other than fulfilling your order.
Storage and Deletion
Your photos are processed by our AI systems and stored temporarily for order fulfillment. Photos are automatically deleted from our active systems within 90 days of order completion. We may retain backup copies strictly for customer service purposes (for example, if you need a reprint or have a quality issue).
No Use in Advertising Without Your Consent
We will never use your photos, your portraits, or any likeness of you or your family members in paid advertising, sponsored content, or commercial promotions without your separate, explicit written consent. This is true even if you have left a review, shared feedback, or posted about your experience with us. Submitting a review does not grant us permission to use your images in advertising.
If we would like to feature your portrait in advertising, we will contact you directly to request your permission. You are under no obligation to agree, and declining will not affect your access to our services. If you have previously given consent, you may withdraw it at any time by emailing order@loverse.ai, and we will remove your content from active advertising within 48 hours.
Your Right to Deletion
You may request the immediate deletion of your photos and portrait data at any time by emailing order@loverse.ai. We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.
6. Reviews and Feedback
If you leave a review, testimonial, or written feedback about your experience, you grant us permission to display this content on our website, social media pages, and other organic (non-paid) channels. We may edit reviews for length or clarity.
Important: Submitting a review that includes a photo of your portrait does not grant us permission to use that photo in paid advertising. Paid advertising use always requires separate written consent, as described in Section 5.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, understand how you use our services, and serve relevant advertisements. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

8. Children’s Data
Our services are not intended to be used directly by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. When customers upload photos of children to create portraits, we process these photos solely to fulfill the order and handle them with the same protections described in Section 5.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child’s personal information has been collected without your consent, please contact us at order@loverse.ai and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate information.
Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, including photos and portrait data.
Portability: Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Opt Out of Targeted Advertising: You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising purposes.
Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent to process information, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Additional Rights for UK and EEA Residents
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing of your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We recommend that you do not share your account credentials with anyone and that you use secure channels when sending sensitive information to us.
11. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill your orders, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Photos are deleted from active systems within 90 days of order completion. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
12. International Transfers
Your personal information may be transferred to and stored in countries other than where you reside, including the United States. If we transfer your information outside the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
13. Shopify
Our services are hosted on Shopify, which collects and processes certain personal information to operate the platform. Shopify may use data from your interactions with our store and other Shopify merchants to provide and improve its services. You agree not to use a false or misleading name or a name that you are not authorized to use. If, in Our sole discretion, We believe that any such information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete, or you have opted into the Program for an ulterior purpose, We may refuse you access to the program and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 and The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) allow users of the program who are California or European Union residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of the information you provide through the Program to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
